Should DESTINY have faction wars in the crucible? And maybe faction specific quests, beside the exotic faction class item, to gain more faction rewards should be added?

Ok guys this has nothing about the raid and sorry.. I just needed a forum with allot of people so anyway... I have an idea to change destiny in a way that will make it into the best game of all time. It involves the factions and the Clans ... As you know their are currently 3 factions Dead Orbit Future Warcult and new monarchy. They are pretty useless. Clans are the things on bungie that are like factions but with real players. Which is good but sadly it doesn't affect anything in the game world.... My idea is imperfect and has a lot of bugs and i will start working to perfect it but here it goes... What if bungie added a new map called wilds it would be sorta like patrol but pvp is enabled and its much more difficult. In this new map their will be a chance to create Clans like on bungie.net but when you create a clan their and you get people to join you can begin making a base.( AND I KNOW TO MUCH LIKE MINECRAFT FACTIONS BUT LET ME FINISH!!!) You would buy the materials from the vanguard and they would be like steel beams doorways and that type of junk. Once you build your base it can become like a second tower for the members of your clan. In that second tower you are able to put YOUR weapons in an armory which will be like your vault only The Armory anyone can take weapons and gear!!! So the you could actually help and team up with the members of your clan. GREAT Right well heres the bad news.. Remenber how i said pvp enabled well say a group of guardians stumble onto your base..if they break through your defenses and walls they will be able to claim whats in your armory and part of your clans glimmer fund. Also my idea includes making away for your clans to earn glimmer a way for trading not to get out of hand and much MUCH MUCH MORE so guys this is an idea I'm going to post this on a few forums and begging writing an email to bungie. The only way their going to listen to me is if i get enough support so please if your interested send me a message on Bungie.net with your bungie.net Gamer name and i will list every single one of you on the email with enough support I'm sure they will listen so Guardians Lets Do THIS!! 1 ReplyI think it'd be nice if they gave the factions weekly bounties like they did with the Queen's group. Have it where you have to complete so many specific types of patrols or kill certain targets and get rewarded large chunks of faction points. I'd be up for the occasional crucible ones even if those would take me longer since I'm usually horrible at crucible lol.

2 RepliesNo. Well, maybe in the future of the game. Crucible in game isn't very well explained. Why am I killing other possible heroes to our cause? So I dug deep in the games lore and found it all started as an argument in the golden age about Miller light. Is it less filling or does it taste great? The fight continues.

By " Showing valor and bravery on the battlefield", you are deemed " champion"( within your faction). While champion status is active ( resets weekly), you gain notoriety for your faction over other factions. When you have reached a certain prestige as a representative, you must perform pve and pvp challenges. ( unlimited time frame) PVE: 1- A tall order: complete one weekly challenge activity while the heroic modifier is active 2- Spread your faction's fame across the system: complete five patrol missions on each destination 3- Make them pay: complete one strike of each race PVP: 1- Well rounded: achieve a k/ of 1.0 2- Specialist: win a match in each weekly playlist 3- Objectively correct: win one match in each core crucible playlist Finally, you must "BECOME LEGEND!" Complete 18 Vanguard bounties, and 10 Crucible bounties You will finally be rewarded with something worthwhile. Each faction's symbol foundries signature weapon Suros- ( NM) Auto rifle Omolon- (FWC) Hand cannon Hakkë- ( DO) Pulse rifle Please spread this post and give me feedback to edit this idea!!!

3 RepliesYes. I also want Riftball. Where you pick your team for the week, have organized teams, maybe offense Defense and goalies, and the team that wins for the weekend gets something exclusive. Maybe incorporate the factions into it. 3 teams, you pick which one you are allied with for the weekend.

Faction wars would be awesome. Have it be a week long event and the winning faction gets a special faction weapon or something. They would have to set it so you can't change your faction during the week though.

1 ReplyThere should be a series of modes all underneath what should be called.... THE FACTION GAMES: Mode #1: The Hunger Games 4 factions go against each having 3 players. Last player standing wins the match for his team. All ammo pickup locations in a central part of the map. Mode #2: Capture the zone. One zone randomly place on the map. All factions have 4-6 players and must secure this zone for points. After zone is secured it will disappear and be placed somewhere else. Mode #3: Faction vs All. 4 factions with 3-6 players each. One faction is selected for 2-4 minutes. Players only get points by killing players of the selected faction or if you are a member of said faction, you get points for every kill. After time is up, selections switches to another faction.
