So far, pretty much every single thing they have tryied to sell us as an improvement of something has in fact been the exact opposite.
They tried to tell us the coversion to Legendary marks was for our benefit and that it was "unlimited".
- totall crap - the limit is moved to a different place - made stupidly complicated and the end result is we get WAY WAY less than we used to. In the past I could get 600 marks a week to spend between my 3 characters. Now with infusion and the earning limits I have yet to have more that 120 marks total in one place.
The told us they were making the new bosses less bullet spongy. - while this may be technically true - they then raised the heroic levels to 41 making every trash mob into a bullet sponge. End result? Way more bullets to get through a heroic strike.

even with the infusion, i still feel forced to buy something just to get rid of marks. I go through easily 400-500 marks a week while keeping 100+ in reserve at all times.

I gotta call BS on this. No -blam!-ing way you get 500 legendary marks a week. Maybe 300.

3 characters... plus the amount of legendaries I dismantle mate... easy.

Chararcterd don't matter marks are account wide. Maybe when your doing the quest for marks. But once those are gone there are no more. You can't avg 500 marks a week unless your grinding like 60-70 heroics a week for legendary's. And that's incredible unrealistic for 99% of players.

Let's add it up shall we. (Not including dismantled things or quests) 1. There are 30 crucible and 30 heroic strike marks per week per account. 2. The daily for pvp and pve. That's 30 a day also account based. 3. Nightfall rewards 15 per character. ... And that's it. Leaving 315 total a week available if you do everything and log on to play 7/7 days of the week.

Then add to the fact the amount of legendaries that drop nowadays. Every 3rd blue turns purple. Then you go on to levelling weapons to test them and then dismantling if I don't like them... That's 3-5 marks per dismantle at least 20x/day. Add then 9 gunsmith weapons, again 3-5 marks. Havent even completed the quests on one of my characters, so there's an easy 50-80 marks Im guessing sitting there for a rainy day. Characters matter when it comes to drops, and ranking factions. Lets remember they all give you crap legendaries 99% of time. There you have it, I see myself buying engrams and dismantling them just because Im close to 200.

And if you dont believe me... again Im on 160... And got 6 IB bounties worth 25 to cash in, which I wont until I spend more marks... IB alone this week will give 225 marks if you do 3 characters. So this week Im guessing i'll be going through 600?
