Bungie just released "Sparks of Light" to all people who did not buy The Taken King. Know why?

They're desperate for you to purchase it. They literally just gave all non-TTK players an item that can only be used if you have TTK. It's so incredibly transparent and pathetic. No, Bungie. I'm not buying your product. Updating items I can't even use won't change that.

I want to know why bungie is wanting to charge for me to access ttk on 360 (traveling xbox for vacations) when i already paid for it on X1. B4 X1 i had 360 with destiny and season pass for dlc 1&2 for yr1. I got X1 bought Destiny for X1 main no dlc and all dlc transfered to X1. Then yr 2 comes along with preorders being offered openly on X1 in the store. So I buy it and chk 360 for any updates after ttk goes live and it wants me to pay for it. I understand if i played on ps4/ps3 and Xbox consoles. But this is the console family i play on solely which means my profile is in the console house which I can access on either platform. Destiny was the first to allow me to use both without losing progression......until ttk. Why the change Bungie. Sales that bad? And with all that work in game purchases coming up, loss of players means even more losses.
