This does not "make Bolt Caster useless." Bolt Caster can throw these discs 17 times at any time. This glitch gives you 1 and you have to set it up.

5 RepliesIf you guys pay attention to the slow-mo parts, you can see that he (probably uses the Destiny Companion App) equips a different sword. Whether it's out of ammo or not, you only see that weird blue aura around the weapon when you change equipment. Try swapping to the bolt-caster using the app at the same time you go to use your RT/R2 ability.
