I'm ashamed to be a part of this community..
You guys are pissed because of how the SS thing worked out? You're basically bullying the company for actually doing something different. You want to go back to RNG for everything? Half of you would be complaining about Boolean Gemini, Ace of Spade, Etc etc. Bungie tried something new and you slapped them in the face for it.
On behalf of this community, I am sorry, Bungie. I love EVERYTHING about this DLC. Thank you. Deej. Cosmo. Everyone. Thank you for making year two amazing so far!

As for the ones defending the hunt for the Sleeper Simulant, nobody twisted your arm to look HOURS AND HOURS. You could have just done what some of us did... Wait until someone else found it. What do you get out of finding it right away? A rushed set of content and bragging right. Kuddos to you. It's like buying a new car. Sure, you may have it before some others but eventually, that car becomes common and it's not so special, now is it? I have three brothers who play more Destiny than I do and they haven't even gotten one of the Relics needed to start the quest. Be thankful you even had the chance. Others aren't so lucky.
Being a kiss ass? Nah bruh. It's called being supportive. Accepting change and being patient. That's a trait some of you will never understand with Bungie trying to do good with this DLC. For those who did waste your time and are complaining about it, there is no sympathy. That was your own free will.

6 RepliesYou know what's funny is that most peeps in here are so critical about the quest and how underwhelming it really was but 98% used a link from the forums to copy the codes and steps necessary to complete it and thus basically cheated. Doing this, of course it was easy... Had you of gone and figured out the codes for your selves and pioneered the steps necessary to complete it maybe it would've been more satisfying!! Just saying

It's not just Sleeper stimulant. People on the forums sometimes do a lot of these thins: racism ,sexism ,scream at Bungie about pricing (when really actavision is the publisher) ,complain about people 13+ playing a T rated game ,and complain about why dlcs ,or patches aren't coming ,or how unjust they are ,when really half of them don't even know crap about how to work these things.

Bump! Great game Bungie! Strange, this has one of the most toxic whiny gaming communities online that I've ever seen. Yet I've met some really cool people while playing and there are millions of players who don't take up arms over every little thing they don't like.

It was fun trying to figure it out, when the quest dropped yes it was a little easy and yes I worked out the code for myself, but it was a fun little quest a bit different to relying on rngesus, I hope there's more like this to come and don't forget it's only the start of year 2 wow and other multiplayer games similar to this don't find their feet properly for another year or so, they are just trying something new and it's going to take them time to figure out exactly where to take it.

Last Year - FFS BUNGIE WHY CANT I GET A GJALLARHORN ITS SO OP BUT NEVER DROPS!. This Year - Everyone has the chance and opportunity to get new exotic weapons which are good in their own way. Yet people still complain because they are not "OP". Stop craving a year two gjallarhorn and enjoy the new weapons.

6 RepliesI'm a little disappointed in the fact that you don't want more from this game. We all know that the sleeper stimulant was way to easy to get. They said you'd have to "figure out" how to get it and that would imply it is a secret. Nobody wanted to just get a quest line drop all on the same day for every single person at the same time. We wanted to have to figure out how to do it but no we didn't get what we wanted. You are a disappointment to this community.

1 ReplyBut thats just how game design works, it's a constant ebb and flow of what the consumers pass or fail, regardless of whether it's good design or not. In this case though, I would say this is just bad design from the start. This quest is just like every other so in that regard I could see why they never expected this reaction. On the other hand, that means this was purposeful design and gives the impression that bungie has no sense of scope and a minimal amount of thought was put into the quest. Maybe they're trying to save money?

I'm pretty happy about the way things are obtained now. The sleeper simulant quest is great. I haven't completed the final step which is the fallen saber strike, but it sure as hell beats doing vault of glass dozens of times and only getting ascendant energies, etc. RNG is always terrible for me.
