I'm ashamed to be a part of this community..
You guys are pissed because of how the SS thing worked out? You're basically bullying the company for actually doing something different. You want to go back to RNG for everything? Half of you would be complaining about Boolean Gemini, Ace of Spade, Etc etc. Bungie tried something new and you slapped them in the face for it.
On behalf of this community, I am sorry, Bungie. I love EVERYTHING about this DLC. Thank you. Deej. Cosmo. Everyone. Thank you for making year two amazing so far!

As for the ones defending the hunt for the Sleeper Simulant, nobody twisted your arm to look HOURS AND HOURS. You could have just done what some of us did... Wait until someone else found it. What do you get out of finding it right away? A rushed set of content and bragging right. Kuddos to you. It's like buying a new car. Sure, you may have it before some others but eventually, that car becomes common and it's not so special, now is it? I have three brothers who play more Destiny than I do and they haven't even gotten one of the Relics needed to start the quest. Be thankful you even had the chance. Others aren't so lucky.
Being a kiss ass? Nah bruh. It's called being supportive. Accepting change and being patient. That's a trait some of you will never understand with Bungie trying to do good with this DLC. For those who did waste your time and are complaining about it, there is no sympathy. That was your own free will.

Bungie is a company, it just wants money and because of everyone who bitched they'll improve, improve the product and sell more (the beta is still here :o)... better quality game and more money for activision => anything but profit for everyone.

4 RepliesTTK rocks. Totally. I really felt they listened to so many more important things and implemented them. Not the childish 'nerf' wars for anything and everything every week-kneed t-waffle complained about. No, instead they gave us more legendaries and exotics, more easily obtained. They gave us cool Year stuff (for those of us who are Year One); they expanded the vaults and how they are managed; they gave us blueprints, and they corrected all the values of the weapons and armor and brought them in line so there is a linear relationship to everything-- the Dreadnaught is AWESOME (high voice)!!! Even giving us bonds and ghosts and an artifact that are at least useful and not just eye-candy. Oh, just so many things-- and the new subclasses are every bit as awesome. I think Bungie delivered in every important way, and it renewed my love of and enjoyment of the game.

I think people are just angry that the quest to get the SS was so short. not to mention fairly easy, now don't get me wrong I like the SS I've got the beast. do I wish it could do a little more damage? yea of course, but I also wish that instead of ricochet rounds it would split up half way there to the target and turn into a shot gun blast that homes in but that is just wishful thinking. lol over all though what people forget is that the codes should not have been figured out half an hour after the launch of the quest. the way it was set up was the enemies spawning in gave you the pattern of the code, however if you didn't see it the first time you were left to guess. ex. hive are up and taken were down. rather simplistic but that was the hint. it was a simple code. all anyone had to do was relies this and go back to there recording of there gameplay to figure it out. good on bungie but now they can never use that Idea again. over all I'm happy I got the SS do I think theres more to it? no do I want to believe well as Fox Molder once put it basically yes I do. but again maybe thats just wishful thinking.

It wasn't that they tried something new, its how they failed to hint its discovery. We had the idea that this thing was going to be a mystery to find, not just a "reset quest".

1 ReplyThe whole SS was just a conspiracy theory generated by all the fans of this game. That's you and the destiny community. Everyone loves a good conspiracy. From the mysteries, clues to follow and cleaver hypothesis that comes from deciphering lore and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, but isn't just the first part of getting this gun revealed so far? And what about all you year 1's trying to find the hidden chest in the VOG? Salt much?
