It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

When I play Skyrim, my character might be a klepto lesbian cat-person. I am none of those things in reality, which is fine, because games are not reality. That character does not represent me any more than my female Human Hunter in Destiny... nor my male Exo Titan. This mentality of caring what other people play as online is archaic. Should have died out years ago. Honestly, the only people I see who seem to care about such things anymore tend to be young, immature, and insecure with their own sexuality.
