Story time: I was about 14, 5'4", 250 lbs (ish) and had my first date ever- I was taking my first girlfriend ever to a school dance. I did not realize it was casual dress, I showed up wearing a button up shirt, slacks, and nice leather shoes. Overdressed, I shrugged it off and decided to get on the dance floor. Little did I know, I was a terrible dancer. Having the self-awareness (or lack thereof) that I did, I proceeded to REQUEST TOM JONES' [i]IT'S NOT UNUSUAL[/i] (Carlton's song) and DID THIS -blam!-ING DANCE. Short, obese, and completely unaware, I gained the immediate attention of everyone at the dance. That's when three much cooler, darker people than me showed up and DID IT WITH ME. Became a mini sensation for about 20 minutes. This girl and I dated for 4 years, and to this day, if I see people in the mall or around town that I went to high school with, they usually say, "Dude, do the dance". TL;DR: Fat, 14, nice clothes, school dance, first date, DID THIS DANCE, pulled it off with some help, girlfriend achieved, please give us this dance.
