I will take whatever you said about it as what they said. Because when I tried to read their article it just wasn't working so I stopped. Unfortunately Bungie's decision to make a live game that they want to change and update isn't the best thing. As we've seen with the updates, past DLC drops, they changed everything instead of adding the new and leaving the old. While not a serious problem apart from those without because they were particularly being coattailed by being allowed to get to the new max if just a little slower. Though of course they were locked out of new content that was featured in the end game activities. Now with TTK they did a overhaul and changed the endgame activities level cap, though they shook the non buyers off the coattails finally.

I think Bungie or who ever sells these games, make too much money to give a shit about how a portion of their fan base feels. Which is sad really since the game is basically a freemium experience that you buy for 60 dollars which diminishes in value every update. And the fact that they haven't responded even ignoring the endless streams of salt coming from their forums, is an insult to everyone who bought the game. I've never been this frustrated with a game or its community management.

It shows that, no matter what, you're choosing to focus all your energy into the minute features non-paying customers lost access to, instead of the grand amount of beneficial features paying customers are receiving and enjoying overall. And then you wonder why BungieVision doesn't seem to care to cater to the likes of you people.

1 ReplyDestiny is a crappy game... But it's OUR crappy game and we love it. Don't lie.. We've all screamed at the top of our lungs "f**k you Bungie! This game is terrible" But in the end we still love and play it. It's like having a pet Pug with down-syndrome and can't quite walk in normal lateral motions. It smells bad, makes that annoying snorting sound, and lives for around 10 years but can't ever figure out where it's bathroom is, but we still love it cause it's our pet. That's what Destiny is. 2 RepliesThere is one thing we can do. Help people to avoid the pain of going through Destiny. Every player who does not have to suffer from this money and time longing repetitive piece of junk is a gamer saved. I rather spend 40 bucks towards 3 worthy Indie titles and support developers who don't just want to suck out money that players through at screens because 2 or 3 new emotes are on sale.... This capitalist concept is nothing true gamers should support.

17 Repliesnice job cracked.com has taken practices being used for the past 12 years in gaming and focused their hate on one of the most bandwagon games in history to hate. There is nothing revolutionary or true about this statement, as dlcs have been doing this for a decade. It is unfortunate to see that a site that researches this stuff has missed such a big trend in the industry for years and only commented on it when it has become "normal" to hate on destiny no matter what direction it moves in.

10 RepliesAfter I let TTK pass, saw what this game was without the latest DLC I removed myself from it with haste. Thankfully thiers a good chance a lot of upcoming titles will stifle this game and put it out of its misery, hopefully taking some of the squeakers and filthy casuals with it to the grave.
