Sleeper Simulant found or is it Fake Footage?
Hey everyone,
Just seen this on my facebook feed, MoreConsole posted this video of what appears to be someone who might or might not have acquired the Sleeper?
Can anyone see anything bizarre that would suggest its fake?

2 RepliesIt's legit. He's actually ripped footage off of planet destiny, they posted a video showing the same gameplay before him. And planet destiny are legit.

It's being pretty thoroughly dissected over at reddit and the conclusion is that it's fake. The background looks too flat and isn't animated in the same way as normal.

It only shows the actual weapon page and not the character it's equipped to or any sort of gameplay with said gun. Sorry but if it was real, dude would be blasting some shit with it or strutting around at least.

It's definitely fake due to the fact of how when he stopped moving his cursor, the gun started to move back to the center of the screen and the lighting does not even match at all.

41 RepliesI think its real guys, you can't fake that overlay. plus you can see the filter on the scroll point. I think its realistic that someone would have it after 4 weeks. would be interesting to see a live feed and the persons account to see what triggered it. I don't doubt anything since people found an exotic mission in a daily.

I say fake. Reason being as this is a fusion rifle, it would not have rate of fire but charge rate even being if it is in the heavy spot. Vex Mythos was a primary but still has charge rate and not rate of fire. Then the cursor, or you know the circle you move around, the inside portion isn't rotating like it normally does in game. Apparently also some other things have been dissected on the video itselff and the reddit post.

For some reason, people think found footage is never faked, but if a Hollywood visual effects company can create realistic digital tigers or transforming robots, it's safe to assume any average Joe with a little know how in after effects can fake a screen in a video game. I would know. Picture, including background (spinning circle) is exactly the same as the press release photo. Anyone who thinks this is real has got to be a moron.

It's fake, the last perk he keeps hovering over has the wrong name on it. I can't remember what the final perk is actually called but yeah he got it wrong
