My own personal opinion, which many do not care about is this. Micro Transactions have the tendency to ruin a game for some people. If they're cosmetic like Deej said they will be then I solely do not mind. However, think about what this might lead to. One week or month or some amount of time with minor cosmetic micro transactions and people won't mind, bungie may catch on and decide to implement NEW micro transactions. Some call these "Pay to Win" transactions which are a disease amongst certain games. Whether it be on platforms or just a phone game it is annoying to run into a legitimate pay-wall. Ever play Hearthstone? Well it's a card game for iPhone and I believe android as well. You can A) play and get lucky with FREE card packs. Or B) get guaranteed legendary cards to pretty much overpower anyone you play against. I didn't know of these until I was really into the game and as a result I actually stopped playing. I thought "if I'm doing this for fun why should I pay 5$ for a pack of cards to be better? Or pay 10$ for an expansion of missions that drop better cards?" It all didn't really make sense. So in turn I am a firm believer that Micro-transactions are an awful additive to gaming. They are toxic and will ruin Destiny if they end up being non-cosmetic in the later future.
Rant over. Wasn't exactly a rant but it was my point of view. Agree? Or disagree?
