Exotic Sword Quest Issue

My fireteam and I were working to complete the strike to obtain my exotic sword last night when we had an issue. We got through everything, had Alak-Hul down to a sliver of health ready to dispatch him within the 30 second time frame... I turn to take out Ecthar with my Arc sword... and... he... is... GONE! Dude up and just disappeared. None of my fireteam touched him... hell he was chasing me (we did that on purpose). He just "poofed" out at the last... I got jipped outta my exotic sword... I'm going to try again... BUT STILL!

  • I have also had an issue but the quest says that I killed Thracu but not Alak-Hul even though I killed them in the correct order and within 30 sec ( was about 5 seconds actually ) so I don't understand why its not completing. I have completed the Strike twice now with the correct parameters but not quest completion. Please fix this Bungie.

    • From what I've seen on YouTube you do not have to kill them with the sword, just have it equipped in your heavy slot and kill them within 30 seconds of each other with the boss being the last to die.
