Pvp: Red Death vs Bad Juju

(I'll start off by saying I've used both of these weapons in pvp and think they're great). To kick it off, Red Death, most people's most loved and hated pulse rifle. This weapon has high impact and a low rate of fire. It can kill in 2 bursts if all shots are head shots . The stability and range isn't great but this doesn't effect the weapon in my eyes. Back in the dark below this was my go to pulse rifle for pvp as it just felt good in my hands. Now to the perks. The first perk you unlock is called unflinching, this is great for pvp as it helps you keep your reticle on the targets head whilst being shot. It's exotic perk goes by the name of Red Death, this perk increases your reload speed and heals you instantly after a kill. Personally I love this perk as after a kill I generally reload, and back before the Taken King patch on Thorn this was one of the few weapons that could compete with Thorn users as it stopped the burn effect dead in its tracks. In the middle tree you have high caliber rounds snapshot and single point sling, for me it's between single point sling and high caliber rounds. Now moving on Bad Juju, high rate of fire low impact pulse rifle.This weapon has some great perks to help you out with its weaknesses. Bad Juju's primary perk is hip fire, not all that useful but has its moments. It's exotic perk is namely the string of curses it states that after a kill you magazine will be automatically reload and you gain bonus super energy. This is great for pvp as more supers more kills. Bad Juju has average range and ok stability at first but with the muzzles and the perks both these stats are turned into better and better. For the stability you have perfect balance and as for range you have send it. These are both great perks, however you also have armour piercing rounds in the middle so some really tough choices but the muzzles give you even more customisation. You have soft ballistics bonus to stability penalty to impact, so you should definately pass on that one, next you have smooth ballistics which gives you a penalty to stability and a boost to range so you could combine that with perfect balance, and lastly you have smart drift control which gives you more predictable recoil with a penalty to range so you could combine that with send it. And lastly the perk that get with the gun full auto which is just a cherry on top. I've made my statements for both weapons now it's time for you to decide. ( If we can get 100 votes on this post I'll do a comparison between zhalo supercell and Monte Carlo).

    Just a helpful suggestion to break up your block of text into two paragraphs and possibly add bullets or numbers to each strength of the weapon. I know everyone loves the Super charge of the Juju but for me, automatically reloading on each kill, is an incredible boost to offensive potential when combined with the damage buff. Probably, the most underrated aspect of the Juju. You make great points, you just need to organize your writing better so it's clearer for the reader. Then you'll be more likely to gain some followers.

      • Red death if you can land every shot. Bad juju being full auto makes up for those that aren't very accurate.

        • Red Death is the better of the 2 overall I think. For a couple reasons 1. It's TTK is better 2.It's perk is better in this new meta, I'll explain. Bungie nerfed most gun types, so overall time to kill went way UP. Before, if you got the drop on somoene, or just plain outshot them with the better guns (TLW, thorn), they were dead before they could even hit you a lot of the time. Now that kill times are much slower, even if you get the drop on someone, they will have time to shoot at least 1 or 2 shots, or throw a nade before dying. The fact that red death heals you after a kill works VERY well in this new meta. The main pluses to bad juju is it's overall versatility, it has more range than Red Death AND better hipfire. The crowd control perk it has also makes multikills doable, but only if you have the life for it, see my above point lol. Red death in the new meta is a 9/10 IMO, I'd give bad juju a 8 or 8.5/10.
