The ship is a random reward AFAIK....
We got our black spindle yesterday, nobody in the fireteam received a ship....

Yea thanks, just have to do it again, and again and again......

Apparently you can only do it once per toon. I don't know if you can still get the ship after you've completed it. I know I didn't get another black spindle on the character I got it from before. But if you do it on the character that hasn't got the black spindle as if they haven't completed level, then they have a chance at getting the ship
