tbh though, if we were to follow this map, we would need to know where north is right? Suros and mida have compasses but they both show opposite ends when equipped

The map you see on the mission selection can probably used to figure out north.

can we assume that is north though, coz it says to plot all these directions and nautical miles, and if we need to end up south of the ship then we just need to go to shattered coast.

If this somehow gives the compass on MIDA a purpose... that would be so cool
