So Bungie I’ve been thinking, with the release of The Taken King, you guys have added a lot of new content into the game. There are some other suggestions I would like for you guys to hear me out about. When TTK was released and compiled into the current construct, some previously closed areas are now open for players to explore in patrol mode (Shrine of Oryx, Garden Spire) These areas resemble an “Arena” that could be utilized in such way. Designate a zone which a fireteam would have to enter (similar to the zones used on the dreadnaught after the activation of the “Agonarch Rune” ) after the arena (survival waves) activate, set the enemy levels and number of waves starting from the lowest leveled mission on “said planet” to the highest level currently available in game for PvE. Every 3 waves send out a “major” with a few “adds” and every 7 waves send out an “ultra”, gradually increase the level and number of majors, ultras and adds with each wave until the fireteam either succeeds or fails the event. Don’t change the loot drop system for these events. This would give players the incentive to keep coming back. If they wish to spend their “Three of Coins” during these activities, that should be their choice.
Another thing that might make the game more interesting is adding a new character. Now it’s not the knight in shining armor, but it’s an idea.
Character Class “Point Man (Old Guard)” This Class has the ability to equip any class armors and items.
(Class Bio) After patrolling the cosmodrome, the ghost have found and revived one of the old guards from the “First War” against the Darkness. Maybe we can learn new ways to support each other from his experience and abilities.
Grenade types: Flashbang (titan), Trip mine (hunter), Scatter grenade (warlock)
Jump Abilities: Focused Glide (warlock), Increased Height (titan), Triple Jump (hunter)
Super Ability: (Null) Replace the super with one (1) perk, (“Sacrifice Super in exchange to equip any class exotics in all slots”)
Melee Ability: Throwing Knife “Knife Juggler” (hunter), Scorch “Solar Wind” (warlock), Disintegrate “Gift of Light” (titan)
Codex set one: Armor & Recovery, Armor & Agility, Recovery & Agility
Class Extras: Kills with Primary Weapons Generate Orbs of Light, Kills with Secondary Weapons Generate Orbs of Light, Kills with Heavy Weapons Generate Orbs of Light.
Codex set two: Armor x2, Recovery x2, Agility x2
Class Ultimate’s: Double the amount of Primary ammo reserves, Double the amount of Secondary ammo reserves, Double the amount of Heavy ammo reserves, Carry 3 grenades.
