Fix the lag goddamn it
Ok I know there's alot of posts about the lag but come on now im sick of these noob ass players thinking they're awesome when all they are doing is bouncing all over the map skipping about shotgunning I've come to accept that destiny pvp can be played with bullshit methods but lagging is down right cheating and it just gets old having to deal with it every time im in crucible come on bungie do your job already and fix this shit
Edit: to all the shit talkers thanks for the helpful advice but your dumbass jokes are just that dumb I assure you im no lagger cause I can afford nice things in my life now run along lil children and get better jokes

2 RepliesWait, lagging? Or lag switching. Lagging isn't counted as cheating, even though it does suck, but it can't really be "fixed" because it's a player NAT/internet speed problem. Lag switching is actual cheating and can be counted as cheating

5 RepliesStop complaining about lag, when you don't even know what causes it. Bungie can't "fix" the lag. Why? Because they don't use dedicated servers for crucible, they use Peer-to-peer connection, meaning my PS4/XBOX connects to the PS4/XBOX of everyone else in my game, and we play a match, this is used in many XBOX/PS4 games outside of destiny. Since Bungie isn't actually running a server, they can't do anything about it's the person who's redbar, and if you've ever played as a Redbar you'll know that there is no real advantage, it's the same thing as fighting another redbar while your greenbar. The only way this can be fixed is if bungie created thier own dedicated servers, and at this point it would be better to wait till destiny 2 to do that.

1 ReplyLol playing rift Sunday morning with my 6 man fireteam, a dude slid onto the spark, I rocketed him, he died, then a half second later he reappeared with the spark running away, I shotgunned him twice and zero damage lol we lost to randoms no one could kill. That fake rocket kill was so ridiculous I just laughed hysterically

tbh since TTK dropped I have found the lag and red bars in Crucible are rife. I really enjoy pvp even though I am not that good, which makes losing through lag worse, being outplayed I can handle, being out lagged really is a hard pill to swallow. last game I played I literially put a full mag from Red Death in a guys face he killed me with his sword ran off and dropped dead from my hits, he was red bar while I was green, people in game chat (shock horror it was actually being used) were complaining about the same guy as well. I have avoided pvp for this reason since TTK dropped really, which is really annoying me as I much prefer playing pvp content.

Every game you seem to play the taken!!!!...i mean buy now this should be fixed,Cod used to be bad but least they tried reasonable to fix it. Even if bungie talked about it i may feel happier,but absolutely nothing is said! I played last night against red bars,instant kills as in being killed around corners,two bullet deaths whilst ive emptyed a whole red death mag,with ashield that just doesn't move,look on the connections yep hes red??God mode.. How and why is this so bad?Also seems worse since Ttk?

Shot him directly in the face with a shotgun, no damage, then I die a second later. Then again, there was someone with a full green and no shields who took a melee to the face and walked away without a scratch as well. So I'm not sure if it's because of connection or just the games code being bad. Btw, do you have to win the weeklies to get marks? I stayed until the end and got nothing.

17 RepliesI don't get theese topics, i've never encountered lag on this game, and if it is its only 1 person in a game, who has poor connection. I assume its you're connection not the fault of the game.

9 RepliesA guy I played with had a simple solution to hackers. He has expensive software to ping their ip and ban them for any length of time. He did it to a few people in trials a while back when they were hacking the shit out of destiny to win.

7 RepliesJust FYI since I see people in this topic referring to "servers". There are no dedicated servers, you are playing on someones console. The only servers are the various MM servers & such that connect you all together. After it connects you, the traffic is going from you to the host, not you to the server then to the host.
