Touch of Malice quest bug
So my friend and I both have 45 calcified fragments. We turned in the 50 hadium flakes as well as doing the Undying mind part of the quest chain, then all of a sudden our quest chain is just dead.
Edit: So I honestly forgot I had even made this post, but for anyone out there who still has this issue I can tell you that the solution for me was that it was telling me I had the correct amount of fragments(45), but it was including all characters so I had to go back and use a Youtube video to go through all the fragments on 1 character to actually reach the 45 number on that 1 character.

I actually have this issue as well. Except my quest disappeared when I turned in everything for the build the frame step.

1 ReplyYa same happened to me I got my required fragments and killed the knight in undying strike turned it into eris and guess what. The quest stops cold. Fix your god damn game bungie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing has happened to me, I'm certain I've completed everything bar getting one more fragment. The quest seems to have disappeared and isn't in lost quests.

I'm having the same problem. I've done the raid, got the calcified fragments, I killed the undying mind boss, but then the quest disappeared from my quests and it's not in the kiosk so I went to the Phobos mission and the wizard dosent show up.

2 RepliesI just turned in the 50 flakes 50 weapon parts, and 25 wormspore. though I did not get another quest after "forming the frame".

1 ReplyI'm having the same problem still. I haven't played since october, and only started playong again last night (feb 5th). Thought to myself "How many frags do I have" and checked... 50... Yet no Undying Mind quest, and god dammit, I want my Touch of Malice!! >:(

Edited by swaggame1: 11/15/2015 2:56:56 PMI guess this bug has yet to be fixed because I completed the Undying Mind portion of the quest on 11/12/15 and still have yet to receive the phobos portion of the quest. Yea I have 45 frags and yes the frame and everything was built.

1 ReplyJust thought I would share my experience with this quest: I collected my first fragment and unlocked the shattered past quest. I collected 5 fragments to completed shattered past. I collected 15 fragments and unlocked hunger pangs quest. I completed hunger pangs (taken centurion Bracus) and turned it in to Eris. I collected 30 fragments and unlocked hunger pangs part 2. I completed hunger pangs part 2 (taken knight in undying mind quest) and turned it in to Eris. I completed the old hunger quest (the raid) and turned it in to Eris. She gave me an antiquated rune, which I took to the Court of Oryx, and defeated. Eris returned nothing for this. I collected 45 fragments and nothing was unlocked. I looked on the dreadnaught map, and found I had only collected 44 fragments with my character so when I get home tonite I will try to collect the last one (I forgot to get the one after Golgoroth) and see if it starts the phobos quest. Hope this helps somebody.

1 ReplyOn the map, select the Dreadnaught, you'll see caracter specific Calcified fragments on the lower left side.... Destiny Ghost Hunter tells me i have 47... but with my Titan, i'm only at 40/50. So the web site adds all my ghosts of my 2 caracters.... That's why i'm not able to get TOM.

1 ReplyHaving the same issue. I've collected 45 fragments but the dreadnaught icon on the Destiny game map says I've only got 44. I've double checked on Destiny Tracker and I do indeed have 45. I haven't picked any fragments with any other characters either. Wtf bungie?!

10 Replies******READ THIS NOW******** the last step is glitched, It's officiall don't listen to the people saying you dont have 45 fragments on one character. This happened to my freind he had 45 fragments, didn't pick one up on any other character. he still didn't get the phobos mission... Here me out though, after 2 fustraiting days of waiting he deciding to do a random vanguard quest and this somehow activated the next quest. Strange right? Now try this and tell me if this solves the problem. OP edit this into the your post to make sure every one sees this ASAP

My quest glitched too. I finished the raid, did every questline except the crucible stuff and my map screen shows 41 fragments collected. My quest line stopped before I got the undyingmind step. WTF

Edited by WorldSuxx: 10/16/2015 8:59:26 AMYour grimoire states you have found 46 fragments so far. IF you found all of them with one character, you should get the third part of the hunger quest. But since you habe three characters there might be a chance you didn't collect all the fragments with one character! If you want to see how many you obtained with one char go to the dreadnaught and without chosing any mission you should have a number xx/50 fragments in the right lower corner. This is the number of fragments you collected with the char you currently play with. If there are less than 45/50 fragments you need to collect the ones you may have collected with a different char. Most likely there are some fragments from the raid or the court of oryx missing.
