Making people who voluntarily leave strikes should have a cool down timer of ten minutes would be interesting

Brilliant! This would discourage people who skip strikes they hate without punishing people who legitimately cannot finish a strike. Also, such a penalty would show Bungie how much we hate certain strikes.

Yeah, a deserter debuff of some sort might discourage people from dropping all the time - however just fixing up the matchmaking will at least keep those of us who stick around happy lol :) - and the people leaving as well xD

Back in the vanilla game, it would give dust palace 4 times in a row or valus tu'arc 3 times before the group would get bored. Before TTK, PSN players had access to 10 or more strikes and they still would get the same thing back to back. Not advocating dropping all the time, but understanding why it happens sometimes. On a different note, it might be taking longer since a lot of the new content takes place outside of strikes so people aren't as compelled to grind them like before. I'm stuck on the quest to do three heroic strikes since the new boss fights are nonstop adds so we can't focus on the boss itself

Edited by mewingloki: 9/24/2015 1:32:26 PMYeah I agree. People want/need to leave. I don't think a change needs to be put in to stop them/punish them. Just making the system successfully replace them as it should would make everyone happy. Those of us left behind in the strike have cavalry incoming and those that want to bounce and reque 100x times a day can do so xD. Fixing the problem seems most ideal as opposed to a new "system" for sure.

I thought they fixed that permanently. As long the same 3 people stay in the matchmaking the strikes will cycle

It's getting rare to have three people who aren't already a fireteam to stay together
