So, before everyone jumps down my throat, hear me out on this one... At least for me, I know ever since I got my legendary sword, I haven't put it down. It absolutely destroys in PvE, and I've even finally figured out how to be effective with it in PvP. So, what is the appeal of changing it to an exotic, and taking up your exotic slot with it? Also, keep in mind that since we can no longer reforge legendary weapons, those ideal perk loaded legendary weapons we've used in the past will be EXTREMELY tough to come by, and will be completely at random. I don't know what the perks will be on the exotic sword. From what I understand, they will be VERY cool and do more damage... But will it be enough incentive over the legendary version, which is already outstanding, to not only lose your legendary sword (yes, you can get another with a different character. But for the purpose of this conversation, let's assume you only have one), but use up that exotic slot? Thoughts? EDIT: I have reached out to someone that already has an exotic sword and have confirmed that you get to KEEP your legendary version. I'm taking his word for it, but that's what the dude said.
