So after getting the cloak of oblivion, and thinking about it's "life exotic" perk, it got me wondering about other awesome perks that could be added to spice up the game. Then it hit me. Why not a weapon set perk. For instance: a class item that gives the perk "way of the west" while having the chaperon equipped, it allows it to be equipped while tlw is. In addition, create class items called "cloak of the outlaw", a wild west style duster, "mark of the wanted", a wild west bandolier with a wanted poster on it, and "bond of the law", a wild west marshals star, which when equipped with tlw and chaperone, it gives you a cowboy hat. When all 3 are equipped you get the buff "high noon" which doubles the damage of and recharges your super at an elevated rate when you are the only surviving member of your fire team when facing an ultra or named major. To get the class item you have to get the quest, "the old west" from holiday. Which requires you to complete these tasks with either tlw or chaperone equipped: "Gold rush" 1)loot chests in patrol to gather 5000 glimmer. "Tombstone" 2) get a 10 kill streak in rumble. "Train to catch" 3) Complete a strike in under 20 minutes. "Long arm of the law" 4) capture skolas on Venus mission "Wanted: dead or alive" 5) hunt down: Urzok Phogoth Zydron Valus ta'aurc Bond brothers "Home on the range" 6)collect from holiday on reset. I know it is just wishful thinking, but that would be awesome. Anyone else have any ideas.
