Connection between the Ahamkara and the Hive?

Seems legit.

Unsure...

So, I've been ruminating over this for a while now, ever since TDB DLC. Remember the last story mission of TDB? You go deep into the Hellmouth to destroy a crystal containing Crota's soul. In the room with the crystal there's a massive set of rib-like bones. Now, with the new ghost scan ability, you can scan them if you look in the right spot. I don't remember what it says, my friend told me about it, but it seemed to imply that the bones came from some species other than the Hive. Now I have new data that strengthens my theory. I finally got to complete an antiquated rune tonight and I decided to check the grimoire card of Kagoor (the antiquated rune boss). The card reads as if Oryx is the one speaking, these lines heavily imply some connection between the Hive and the Ahamkara:
It spoke to me — it was the speech of truth It ate of me — it was the pact I made It showed me a shape — it was the correct shape of joy Saying: this is the shape of joy, oh ruler mine
That sounds familiar doesn't it? Almost every exotic armor with Ahamkara bones attached to it has a description that reads as if the bones are speaking to you, they always end with the line "oh bearer mine." There seems to be a running theme with the Ahamkara speaking in such a way that often ends with "oh ___ mine." Also the line "...it was the speech of truth..." makes sense since we know the Ahamkara often shared forbidden knowledge with guardians who would seek them out. "...it was the pact I made..." this knowledge always came with some, currently unknown, price. Apparently it was bad enough that the Vanguard ordered a great hunt to exterminate all Ahamkara, which was declared a success but smart money says it wasn't. So let's see: - Usual speech scheme, check. - "Deal with the devil" in exchange for knowledge, check. - Bones, admittedly loose evidence but I'm gonna say check. Sounds like we've got Ahamkara. I realize this is anecdotal evidence at best but as far as lore is concerned I've known Bungie to never do anything without reason. Most of the Halo universe was fleshed out in a secret book/document/data file/disc (no really one knows) refereed to as the Halo Story Bible, which was written before the release of Halo CE. I wouldn't be surprised to discover that they've done that again with Destiny, for now well just have to wait and see. In the meantime, what do you guys think?
