Taken lieutenant and following boss
At the citadel on Venus I killed a taken lieutenant which triggered a boss to avenge it. The lieutenant was part of a quest but the following boss dropped nothing. A smaller Minotaur dropped a rune but was the boss supposed to drop anything or is that a different quest?

They don't drop stuff all the time.
