I got a calcified fragment, a rune and a legendary engram out of it.

If you like gettin grimore score it is crucial that you get these fragments, if not, don't even bother dude.

I kno; why do you gotta suk bungie off to get all those fragments pretty much? WHAT IS SO DAM SPECIAL about em? (You have to get RNG 1st key, summon secret boss to get 2nd key, do something dum and fight ANOTHER secret boss for 3rd key, fulfill dumb req to activate 3rd key, find some impossible chest; open with key, then use smell from chest to reach scent chest in CRAZY SHORT TIME LIMIT------> an thats only 2x fragments outa 50!)-------> [b][i][u]WTF IS THAT SH!T an WHY IS IT THAT IMPORTANT?[/u][/i][/b]

I have never opened the chest in that room. Just stand in the room for about 60 seconds to receive buff. Sure 60 seconds is a tough time limit but it is a challenge and doable. If you do not care about grimoire or finding out what all 50 calcified fragments turn into then it is not worth it to collect these items.

The scent buff would not activate until i opened chest of maggots on my game for some dumb reason

Weird. First time I entered that room I got the calcified fragment near chest and noticed my screen going green so stayed there to see what happened. Ended up finding the chest later and put it together. Just practiced from there and eventually got it. Still have not opened the maggot chest. Well hope you get it soon!

I heard when you get all 50 bounties you get an exotic weapon( or a quest for it). Touch of malice, I think

It's not meant to be taken seriously - especially this early in the meta - it just gives you something to do. Keep in mind, TTK is fresh so people are still trying to figure everything out as well. Welcome to the living meta, where things are confusing, crazy, and new. Enjoy it while you can because no one 6 months down the road will experience TTK the same way we did. :)

Idk i jus miss the days when ppl made player guides and MAPS instead of; watch my youtube vid bro! On the timelimit though my point is usually with timelimits; do it fastest you can, you have 30 seconds left over NOT [b][i][u]FIVE[/u][/i][/b]. This is to account for different ppls reaction times and 1-2 mistakes made enroute; makes it so its playable by ANY ONE & EVERY ONE

Again, it's a challenge. If you plan your trip right (maybe even get some help from friends for the trickier platforms) you can get to the final platform with a comfortable 10-12 second window. Guides and maps come later when the meta is firmly defined. What we're experiencing right now hasn't been around long enough just yet.

Idk in the time it takes to make a youtube vid; you can make a map or guide. Im aware it IS do able with 5-15 seconds to spare if you do it non cheesing. My question is; why put a time limit that tight on a chest WITH JUNK IN IT? Its the dam loot cave ALL OVER AGAIN
