Are you guys insane? Preordering is bad! It will make game companies focusing more on marketing than game itself. We do not want game companies to walk down that way any further! Bungie owes a lot of apologies, this one is not one of them.

I preordered because my local game store doesn't order many extra discs on release dates. Its a dumb store policy and I honestly don't care that I didn't get my suros stuff. I didn't pay extra for it so oh well.

Pre-order is fine as long as they are honest about the content and your imagination doesn't go wild *hype train, all aboard* That said if a game makes it seem to good to be true it probably is Pre-order is hit or miss but certain games/developers will deliver on the content as long as greed hasn't ruined them *cough* Bungie *cough*

What's Bungie's record on delivering content and starting hype train? Preordering is bad in general and in this case particularly. As gamers, we should reward games with good content not good marketing strategies. Giving good preorder bonus is a marketing strategy.

The problem is you give money in good faith that it'll be worth it. Unfortunately some companies choose to exaggerate the content they are selling. Sunset Overdrive was hyped a lot I didn't buy it because Insomniac was foreign to me after going with 360 for the last gen so I didn't buy right away but as soon as I saw what I was getting with the purchase I bought it because it was fun and I wouldn't have regretted pre-order. Fallout 4/ Bethesda does little for Marketing until their main products are close to release and I'd trust their delivery. It's when a company puts more effort in marketing then into the game and that's on them.

Amen, preordering just gives money for no effort done.
