Spark of light hasn't arrived yet
I created a new character and it still isn't there i looked on my lvl 40 hunter, my level 8 titan and my newly made warlock and it isn't there. Any help?

You can access it from the Postmaster (either the one in the Tower or in the Reef) for one of your character. The Spark of Light should appear in the Postmaster of the first character you logged into after the launch of The Taken King. If you are having trouble locating your Spark of Light, please look in the Postmaster and inventory for all of your characters. Please note that if you logged into a character after the launch of The Taken King and then deleted that character, you may have inadvertently deleted the Spark of Light that was in that character's Postmaster. If you delete a character before picking up any items from the Postmaster inventory, you cannot retrieve them again. Please be careful when you delete a character and ensure you have removed items from the Postmaster and transferred them to the Vault, or place your items in another character's Inventory. Also, please note that the Postmaster inventory is not a good place to store items. If too many other items are sent to your Postmaster, it can delete older items from your Postmaster to make room for the new items. It is highly recommended that you pull items from your Postmaster and store them in your Vault for safekeeping. If you purchased The Taken King and have checked the Postmaster on all of your characters, the Postmaster inventories are not full, and you have not deleted a character, but still have not received a Spark of Light, please reply to this post so we may investigate the issue further. 14 RepliesHello ReekySun60331, If you logged into a character after the launch of The Taken King and then deleted that character, you may have inadvertently deleted the Spark of Light that was in your Postmaster. [b]SOLVED FOR XBOX 360[/b] I logged onto a friends account to buy stuff from Xûr. This friend still had his Spark of Light at the postmaster... When I was done I switched back to my own account. Lo and behold: it was there! Upon sign in I had to redownload Compability Pack 8 and the SUROS pack. I have no clue why, but [i][b]if you have a friend who trusts you enough- AND STILL HAS THEIR SPARK- ask them if you can borrow their account. Sign in, go to tower, sign out and back in on your own account. The spark should now be at the postmaster![/b][/i]

1 ReplyI got the spark of light on 9/15 when I first logged in and it said that only 1 per account could use it, but I don't even need it though. It's odd how people who need it don't get it and the ones that do need it don't.

Been waiting for 6 days now. Contacted them on Twitter and Facebook as well, they really do not seem to care. Tempted to just hand the game back over and get a refund. Absolutely disgraceful way of treating customers.

Bump. Same problem here... I restarted a titan a couple days before TTK dropped with the expectation of power leveling him. But no spark for me on any of my characters. C'mon, Bungie -- give us the spark! Or better yet... let people buy Sparks of Light from the speaker. Even if it costs something like 15,000 - 20,000 glimmer each, people would pick them up.

Finally an answer :) I bought the game on Saturday never filled up my post office and never deleted a character and never found a spark of light.

Logged in with all character and didnt find spark. Started a new titan thinking maybe i gotta start over after deleting a 15 warlock and still no dice. I really dont want to hit the grind for a 4th time.

5 Repliesanyone else notice that bungie marked this question as answered...yet the answer suggest we may have not gotten it because we deleted characters. seems they are side stepping this issue...although it's a minor one. either way...if this is how they handle a minor issue about a missing item...what does that say to the major issues others are having?
