Most shotguns have had three nerfs, whether it's from a range perk (shot package or range finder and hammer forged) and/or damage perk (accurised ballistics, aggressive ballistics). In addition blink shot gunning has also seen a significant nerf. With the above in mind it would seem shotguns have been nerfed to uselessness, but across the board the average time to kill of primaries has also been nerfed leaving little counters to an opponents slide shotgun on most maps and most rooms. Do you think shotguns have reached a perfect balance? I believe it is too early to tell. According to guardian.gg it appears shotguns have seen a slight decrease and fusion rifles have started to fill the void.
