Constatine wanted to unify the people. The pagans and Christians were fighting. He brought the 2 together in Catholicism. It's basically the pagen holidays and rituals with Christian names. That's why there is an Easter bunny and Christmas tree during Jesus birthday and the day Jesus rose from from the dead.

He didn't bring them together as catholicism. He brought them together as Christianity. That was the first and second council of Nicea. There the bible was created and Jesus' connection with God decided as well as there were varying views of whom he was and how he was connected to God. All modern day bibles and forms of Christianity came from those decisions which occurred in 300AD. After that East and west split in 1000AD creating Catholic Church for the west, and orthodox for the East. 500 years later Lutherans broke free of the Catholic Church and gave birth to Protestantism. There was also Anglicanism, Mormonism, and a bunch of other denominations also. Protestants today claim to be the original and true Christianity. But they can't be when they came to be so -blam!-ing late in the game and have their heritage trace back to Catholicism, further back to the great schism, and further back to the council of nicea. Protestants just want to oust Catholics like they were ousted. However use misinformation Nd opinion rather than fact to back up their claims.

Please report me. I was baptised and attended Christian schools. One being Lutheran, the other being catholic. I have more understanding of Catholicism and Protestantism than you because I endured 12 years of education and got to see the difference. The scriptures you are referring to are interpreted different in each denominations bible. They came from the same scriptures, but are then recorded differently in text in the bible that you are reading. What I mean by that is bible verses are worded differently between the catholic bible, Eastern Orthodox, KJV, Presbyterian, Lutheran, etc. Same verses, worded differently due to slightly different interpretation. So you tell me which of those is the true bible? You will claim yours, because I am guessing your are Protestant, the modern day passive aggressive form of Christianity, who also self proclaim themselves to be TRUE christianity. This is further backed by the fact you refer to your bible as "the scriptures" rather than what it is. The bible. Your bible carries from what was originally written in the ACTUAL scriptures. Your bible is a refined form of the catholic bible. Fact. As it was written with parts your denomination didn't like edited to suit their belief. The catholic bible dates back to 300AD with the council of Nicea and emperor Constantine. If anything the catholic and Eastern Orthodox bibles are the closest thing to the real scriptures, however even they slightly vary from the original texts. In this entire topic I have given people like you 6-10 factual primary sources that you could use in academia/tertiary studies to cite and reference, all of which show Catholicism is Christian. All you and others like you can do is recite YOUR OPINION based on what YOU READ from YOUR VERSION of the bible, and yet you still can't understand there are carrying forms of that bible.
