Just a little update. I just hit rank 81 (that's almost 30 ranks in almost as many days) and I still don't have the fermi solution. I give up. Hopefully it's still available in TTK, but if not at least I can say I tried. Since the nightfall and weekly aren't going to be around next week, I won't get the buffs or 999 experience and I don't feel like grinding even harder per rank.
And that's just with my main character. I've leveled up my hunter and Titan a bunch of times too.

It's still going to be available in TTK, they even added a reskin of it. Faction packages are also supposed to be improved, so there's that too. If all else fails, you can buy ranks with strange coins. 1 strange coin is something like 155 rep, which I'm guessing will be nerfed when people start to realise that their huge coin stacks are worth something.

Was that actually confirmed by Bungie, or are you just speculating? I've seen the question asked a few times but never seen bungie mention it. Also, when will we be able to trade strange coins in for rep? Right now it's not an option.

Strange coins = 5 heavy ammo. With the nightfall boost you get 31 reputation per heavy pack, making it 155 rep per strange coin. And I read somewhere on the forums that it'd still be possible to get them, but it was awhile ago and I can't remember where. Best of luck getting it anyway, I'm still hoping for my New Monarchy ship.

Don't give up bro i am in the same boat day in and day out grinding for fermi, currently 36 with only one shader, the hanged man at level 13 the faction shader and ship drop rate update with ttk will be welcomed, if i missed the fermi, it's ok at least I'll have all the shaders once the ttk drops if all goes to plan with the weapon parts exchange.

I've already had all he shaders drop for me multiple times, as well as weapons and armor for all three classes. Hopefully the fermi solution is still obtainable in TTK. If it is I should get it right away.
