YOU WOULDN'T BELIVE WHAT I SAW
I was in the cosmodrome heading to the lüt cave to pay my respects, and I saw a line of thrall and a few acolytes tuning out of it! I killed them and got 2 blues, a green, and some heavy ammo! WTF!
Edit: it happened again! Did they bring it back?????!?!? The only thing is that they spawn less often now...

They still spawn but not as fast as before. You got a lucky set of drops, its rare for an enemy to spit out double engrams.
