Some of us want to be nightfall/raid/iron banner ready.
We have to collect every exotic and every good piece of armor/weapon again, getting intot hat part of it as soon as possible is just common sense.

not really....getting to 40 won't be that hard....don't need bounties to accomplish it...

It's also to get faction packages for gear and to level up the new subclass. If you wanna run a new subclass with out a double jump then that's completely fine, but I sure as hell don't want to.

it's just to easy to level up....to worry about hoarding.....but to each his own....I'm not hating....

Yeah because that's why you have 67,874,837 total faction ranks. Levelling up takes 2500 rep, getting a headstart at more faction packages just makes sense.
