Additionally salvage and doubles is still glitched for some, including my self.

Same salvage is broken for me too hope for a fix soon.

How so? I'd like to know because I'm currently playing Salvage!

Salvage and doubles grimiore cards will not unlock for some players. This has been verified by bungie yet they have not resolved the issue.
