It's part mmo. Yea it ain't massive but it has all aspects of an mmo, people even use the excuse "it cost a lot cause it's an mmo"
-
No. Its similar, but then... so is borderlands. Add multiplayer to Skyrim, and it becomes ESO. That doesnt make it an MMO.
-
destiny IS a mmo
-
No its not. Read my response to that other guys post.
-
But it's priced like one :)
-
To late the developers are already treating it like an MMO. You can deny it all you want.
-
Because people are asking it to be an MMO. Its bugging the crap out of me.
-
You can call it a "Shared world shooter" all you like, but it is clearly an MMO. If it looks like shit, smells like shit, tastes like shit, it probably is shit. Calling it anything else is a weak attempt to cover up the fact that you just ate shit. :P

Edited by Executor Hideo: 9/4/2015 2:30:30 AMMMO. Multiplyer? Yes. Online? Yes. Massive? Destiny is not massive. It has small worlds seperated by loading screens, similar to Borderlands. It has only three to a fireteam for most events. The most that can be in one place at a time is 15-16 in the Tower. 6v6 PvP is similar to CoD, so im gonna say its not. The good MMOs can support HUNDREDS on ONE server. Destiny can barely support six on one server. MMOs have teams of eight or higher. An MMOs PvP can have literal ARMIES fighting against each other. Destiny is not an MMO. Its an FPS RPG, like Borderlands, but you occasionally share the world with a random person. Hence, Shared World Shooter. You can think I ate shit all you want, but Im gonna enjoy this Hershey's bar while you starve.

I thought it was massive multiplayer online Not multiplayer online massive o.O
-
I put it out of order because Massive was my key point.
-
all of that stuff could be in skyrim.
-
Actually, it couldnt. Theres no PvP.
-
Ai arena. Done.
-
Theres no A.I. arena.
-
Make one
-
Why? You could just go fight A.I.s...
-
Gladiator colloseum. Simulate pvp.
-
Again. Just go fight A.I.s. Also, Im so O.P. in skyrim there no way to simulate "fair" PvP.
