The point where you sit stare at the planet screen and think wtf am i doing. You feel depressed scanning at the activities and feel physically repulsed at the thought of doing another bounty. This phenomenon seems to be happening to a lot of players.

Nope, love this game!!

Just go and kill 3 sword Knights and Wake the Hive and get 100 precision kills for the ultimate mind numbing experience. Unless you haven't finished your 5000 sidearm kills - that one's the best of all! Finished it this week.

That happened to me for a while and then iron banner came back 2weeks ago got me back on the grind.
-
That happened after I finished how in a week (skolas, flawless, etc). I'm back into it again, grinding up my grimoire and preparing for ttk
-
Lol. Go outside or do something productive. Just starting at a screen? You sound like a sad person.
-
I think that happened to me shortly after 'The Taken King' was announced, but I regained my liking for the game after a brief hiatus from said game.
-
If that's how you feel. Shut if and find something else do to. There's no reason you should have to force yourself to play. It's you're free time spend it doing what you really want to.
-
I have before. I soon realized the best way to deal with this is to hang out with friends for a bit doing funny stuff in raids like using NLB or wearing all starting armor. Trust me it cheers ya up pretty fast. \|--|/

It happened to me when house of wolves does and i realized POE want worth the time. No real story missions at all. I started playing other games for like a month. Got back on when my buddies started to bug about needing one more and everything was back to normal. Is day take a short break it'll help you out. I did do my nightfalls for 2 characters and that's it. But there are other pastimes and games to play.
-
This happened a loooooooong time ago. I don't even do nightfall a because I have all of the exotics. I force myself to play the weekly to collect strange coins

"And the grind will kill us all. We throw ourselves against the wall."

Sometimes I'll think " I'm gonna play Destiny." Then I'll pick my character get to orbit, then...watch YouTube or something
-
Guess I never put myself into that. I think pvp helps a lot. Would just hop on play a few games and hop off. Daily grinding quests was never really fun to begin with. Feel sorry for the lot that caught up in that.

This phenomenon is commonly referred to by MLG scientists as "burnout."

Me, since I will be shelving all my current gear in 2 weeks, there is nothing to do now except stock up on upgrade mats and public event packages to get ready for year 2 -

Know exactly what you mean and I am not sure TTK is going to change that either. I am fairly underwhelmed by what I have seen in the reveals.
-
I've had this feeling more than once and across two systems, but I keep coming back. I'm a Destiny-aholic!
-
I literally can't play the game anymore unless my friends are on for trials... Other then that I stare at the orbit screen feeling depressed because there is nothing to do. Also the fact that I'm level 39 dead orbit on my hunter and haven't received a shaded yet has really ticked me up the wall.
