Who's hit the wall??
The point where you sit stare at the planet screen and think wtf am i doing. You feel depressed scanning at the activities and feel physically repulsed at the thought of doing another bounty. This phenomenon seems to be happening to a lot of players.

Yeah I get you. I am dismayed by the fact that anything I now do is off little benefit to progression. Helping friends out besides,the game is quite stale. Hopefully this well shared view shall not be repeated in future run ups to new DLC.

nah, just a few more factions to edge up and buffs and nerfs coming next week, should keep me busy enough till TTK lands.

That's why I deleted my Titan. Gave me something new to do. I wanted to change his face and make him an Awoken anyway.

Edited by Eclipse: 9/3/2015 3:44:58 PMI guess I have. I'm a day one player who's logged on nearly every single day since launch...yet I've only played about 30 minutes since 9/28. I didn't even finish ToO on all my characters, which I've done every single week. I went flawless on my Titan just because I NEEDED those gauntlets...and then I got off and didn't log on again until yesterday to do one Nightfall. The grinding is slowing down for me, especially since I know a lot of this stuff is going to be useless in a few more days. I have good gear and weapons already. I don't feel like grinding for items that will soon be replaced. I may continue taking a break until the update drops. But in all honesty, it feels nice to just relax and focus on other things instead of focusing on logging on and doing bounties every day.

I'm gonna play the new Raid some but once Battlefront hits I won't be playing Destiny for quite so e time. Most of my friends are waiting for Battlefront to drop as well. Beta in October!! I hit the wall about a month ago. Been playing Dying Light, Payday 2 and I love the new Gauntlet: Slayer Edition. One of the best top down coops on PS4 right now.

I hit the wall a while ago... I sit in patrols on parts there's no enemies and just look at my character.. Or elimination sweaties with clan mates and friends..

I've been bored of Destiny for a while but just felt like I needed to keep grinding. MGS V has finally pulled me away.

11 RepliesI hit the wall about a month and a half ago. Killed Skolas and went 'Well, that was fun". Did a few 32/34's and the Iron Banana for etheric light, ascended the weapons i wanted and walked away. Been playing Dying Light, Rocket League and Diablo 3 since. I went back to play some Iron Banana the past week and was surprised that it just wasn't the same. I am looking forward to todays 2.0 patch to learn some new weapon characteristics, what and who got nerfed/buffed but aside from that, September 15th will be the day. I am sending my wife and son to a hotel, busting out the poop chair and have taken the week off work. I also warned the neighbors that I will only be receiving delivery for every meal, dropped at the front door with money slid through the mail slot so they should not be concerned if they don't see any activity for a week or so :)

You know what you do when this happens? Turn off your Playstation/XBox, hang out with friends, after that you go home and pick up a new game that you haven't played recently, or you get a game that's free off the Live Arcade/Playstation store, and you play it. And you play it until you hit that wall. And you know what? Eventually there will be a trigger that makes you want to get back into the game of Destiny. Playing games for hundreds of hours is kinda like sleeping. You can't sleep forever, eventually you need to wake up and switch things up. (Pro analogy)

3 RepliesI feel your pain. Did the exact same things. Stare at the planet screen, wander the tower for no reason, check the vault to see if there's a weapon to try out on patrol, then ultimately log out.

Hit it so hard that now i basicly roleplay my hunter in the cosmodrome patrol ^^ and i also do parkour stuff and train with my sniper ^^

Me. My thoughts are always well I'll play crucible for fun. Then get shotgunned from a mile away and then get TLW across the map. And say -blam!- this I'll wait until the patch to do anything .
