Who's hit the wall??
The point where you sit stare at the planet screen and think wtf am i doing. You feel depressed scanning at the activities and feel physically repulsed at the thought of doing another bounty. This phenomenon seems to be happening to a lot of players.

yes lack of content is why a lot of people left like me, but hopefully Taken brings enough for people to return. Especially if they start back at lv 1 for a better experience.

After I finished Skolas I lost some motivation. After completing the NF with my three toons these past two weeks and getting very little, I really lost my motivation. I pre ordered ttk, but I think that might be the end for me; I would consider cancelling my order if I hadn't purchased the digital version. I want a game that I can play with and without internet access (separate solo and multiplayer components) and one that I don't have to pay to keep up with. Call me old school, but I like a game that has a nice big story mode that could potentially take me 20 hours to finish, and then a nice sized sequel a year or two later. Destiny is a gorgeous game, and the mechanics are excellent, but the story/content stinks and that is where I've hit the wall. I would like to be able to sit down and do something fun and productive without having to assemble a group. Even being part of an active clan where it's really easy to group up, I find myself wanting to play through mass effect 2/3 again, or even Assassins Creed Black Flag. Sorry for the ramble, but I'm starting to feel the effects of the business model that is Activision.

Here's what I do, anything else. That's right, when I question, "what am I doing?" The answer comes quickly, not this. Find a different hobby if this one is burning you out. Or just go take a shit or make a sandwich. If you're burnt out don't try to push through it, that only worsens the problem.

I hit a wall once... In my neighbors winabago. Woke up in county with a tuxedo t shirt and a handle bar mustache drawn on with sharpie marker. Lsd not even twice

Take a break. I went in july....been like 2 months and now im refreshed...bored of other games in anticipation for TTK.

This is incredibly accurate, I never thought I would've seen a post that so perfectly described the feeling. This "wall" I ran into was about a month ago, I would try to play Destiny but I just couldn't. So I stopped playing. Today I started playing again and thankfully I was actually interested in it, and currently I'm working on prepping for TTK.

Take a break and come back. Grinding any game gets boring after a while, especially any sort of mmo-type game.

2 RepliesI took a break after I beat gard mode crota a few times. Then came back a few weeks for HOW. Im hoping TTK will last a bit longer for me. It seems like it will.

I took a break and played bloodborne and witcher 3. Both great games. It's been a few weeks but I came back yesterday and it helped

I only do the nightfalls now and occasionally the weekly heroic strikes.No bounties....havent done those for months.

Yea it's hit me twice first time I took a break from destiny was to play GTA 5 and the second was to play The Witcher 3 and to feel refreshed when coming back to destiny. Next break Fallout !

when i hit the wall i started up a 2nd psn account and created a new set of 3 guardians. i let the moment of triumph be my goal on the new one. and worked towards it on only 1 chacecture. but time was not on my side so i ended up making a 2nd. tldr; made 2nd psn to gain 1 month of stuff to do

Me. That's why Batman: Arkham Knight and Project cars are the games I play now until the 15th.

1 ReplyAll that is left is farm Grimoire. If you are maxed out then go out and be re-acquainted with the bright orb in the sky. It will make you feel nice and warm.
