I received a legendary engram for a helmet as a reward from a tiger strike. It didn't end being in the rewards screen, and it may have turned into a HoW engram because of it. It didn't have the "remarkable potency" text in it so I knew it was TDB or HoW. That's just some extra info there.
[b]But the two biggest questions are:[/b] Can you get legendary weapon engrams from patrol chests or Tiger strikes? If someone could find recent proof of either, we could find out whether or not it's possible to get vanilla weapons anymore.

I have no hard proof, but speculation by trial and such has brought many I know to the conclusion that vanilla weapon engrams cannot be obtained from strike reward screens.

I've been digging in the... *Shudders* Past, and couldn't find any proof of a weapon at all in tiger strikes, not even the lower ones. But then again, I haven't seen a legendary, either. I'm just gonna say that you can't get em', cause' if you can, you'll have to go through hell to get one. Looks like we're down to patrol chests...
