There is actually a way to get kinda Vanilla legendary WEAPONS....
Do Vanguard ROC.
Pray to RNGesus to give you a weapon engram AT THE REWARD SCREEN. You will then have a chance for 3 thing from that engram.
1) A crappy blue
2) A Dark Below legendary
3) A Dark Below FACTION weapon
The thing is, faction weapons from TDB had no 1 in the corner and were the exact same weapons from Vanilla. Highly unlikely but possible. Remember only Faction weapons!

Ya they did I have the af.857 whatever it's called from vangaurd ya stats are the same as the high impact scout but the vanilla one had firefly which is way better then the dark below vangaurd. And the dark below was the start of high rof and low impact auto rifles no shadow price in dark below

Not really a faction is anyone u can get rep with vangaurd crucible and iron banner are all factions as well

I did tons of ROC strikes, not single weapon engram showed up on reward screen
