I've been meaning to try a theory but haven't got around to it... My son has the destiny DEMO on PS3 and all the vendors in it still sell vanilla gear! I'm wondering if it's possible to sign in to the demo with my acct and buy some vanilla vendor gear then bring it back to the full version. I play on Xbox one but my kid has a 360 also so I'm thinking of trying this to see if it works.
[b]EDIT[/b]: it didn't work guys, it won't let you log into the trial on an acct with the full version. There is theoretically another way but it would require restarting. You could do the trial with new characters, the lvl cap is 7 on the trial and you're restricted to earth, but I think you could grind out for some marks then purchase the gear and then just purchase the full version from the trial, not sure if it's worth it to the rest of you but not really worth it to me. It was cool seeing things like devil you know and the comedian at the vendors though! Sorry guys I tried and good luck to those who will continue to grind!

Ah, that stinks. Maybe starting a demo account and upgrading may work? I might check that out later. I don't know how exactly the demo works though haha.
