Its cos the digital collectors edition and physical collectors edition retail both at the same price, yet the digital doesn't come with the strange coin, booklets and stuff. Hence why the digital guys will be getting 'extra' stuff.
Bungie should have just made the digital collectors edition cheaper then the physical

In the uk the physical one cost £79.99 and the digital is £74.99 so we are paying £5 extra for the physical stuff. Only one company sells this Edition called game.co.uk So why am I paying £5 more but get less in game stuff is I am already paying the extra £5 for the physical stuff

In the U.S. the digital and physical are the same price so for the people that HAVE to buy the digital copies because the physical ones are sold out (at least in the U.S.) I think its kinda BS because both have the emotes, shaders, & class items. Until the details on what "Stuff" will be added to the digital collectors are known I find it very hard to spend 80 on just digital content that I would have also got in the physical one.
