no raid on day 1 of ttk should of been announced before pre-orders for ttk was available!!!
...the point is you should receive what you paid for in advance, whether you can do the raid on day 1 is irrelevant.
EDIT...hehehehehe, bungie just tweeted that they will provide the raid on day 1. Thanks for all of the dumbass posts by idiots stuck on stupid thinking that this post was anything other than wanting what was paid for in advance.
EDIT...hahahahaha, nice to see a whole bunch of pimple faced fanboy's stuck on 'hot on heels' instead of the fact that the raid you've been waiting for, won't be available on day 1...you got screwed when a raid didn't drop for HOW and you will still be licking bungie's nuts when the raid finally drops and it's still as buggy as atheon and crota...the raids you dumbasses say was delayed to make sure it's done right.
below is a little tidbit for the guy who replaced the original creative visionary on how destiny was supposed to be...
Luke Michael Smith is an American writer. He is a staff member at Bungie, a video game development company, and is a former video games journalist. Smith wrote for a college newspaper and weekly papers in Michigan before being hired as one of the first new freelance writers for Kotaku. At Kotaku, Smith developed his writing style but soon left the site for a staff position as 1UP.com's news editor. Smith made a name for himself at 1UP, particularly through an article he wrote focusing on problems with the game Halo 2.
Smith was known for his direct approach to game journalism and scathing criticism of the video game industry. During his time at 1UP the site developed a greater profile and stepped out of its sister publication's shadow, but Smith grew frustrated with the contemporary state of gaming news and what he considered manipulation of journalists and readers into accepting promotional material as news. In April 2007 he left 1UP to become a Bungie writer and co-host of the developer's podcast.
...a dude with no game dev experience under his belt explains the sorry state of destiny today.

Whats the rush? Play the story mode and explore what it's providing day one.
-
They did this with the initial release of destiny as well. They delay the launch of the raid so that people have some time to gear up and prepare for the race to be the first to complete it. Bungie enshrines the first team to beat a raid in their hall of fame, and there is a pretty big competition to be the first. They don't want beating the raid first to be a matter of luck with drops at the launch of a new dlc, they mean for it to be a challenge of skill in which everyone has an equal chance to prepare. They will likely release the raid in a week or perhaps the second Friday after launch (as they did with VOG)
-
Then cancel
-
If you get a max level max light group together on day one hit me up and we can protest for our money back...
-
That's a very good thing !
-
VoG, not released on day one. Crotas End, released on day one..... nuff said?
-
VOG wasn't available directly at release. Get over it.
-
There was no raid on day 1 of Destiny… there's also nobody who will be able to run a raid on day 1.
-
Petition to lock only Shady Jr out of the raid, sign here.
-
It may be a level 40 raid but do we even know how much light will be needed? No, so don't fret just yet.
-
B-b-b-but you wouldn't even be able to raid on D1 anyway
-
Is the raid level 34 or something? You trying to be level 40 by the end of day one so you can go on the forums and brag about it or something?
-
Uh...that was kinda obvious dude...why do you think it's call end game material.
-
Shouldn't have been an idiot and preordered it any ways
-
That's honestly so stupid. It should be available as soon as you buy it that's the right thing. We shouldn't have to wait for shit we pay for
-
Anyone who thinks they will be the suggested light level day 1 is a idiot
-
This just in. Nobody gives a -blam!-.
-
You won't even be ready to do the raid on day one.
-
We will need that time to prepare for the raid. It'll be easy to get to lvl 40 but missions and stuff still have a recommended light power level and I doubt anyone will have all the gear to get them to whatever that level is in less than a week.
-
You're still getting it a week later, and you won't even be ready on day one
-
Is this confirmed? And where? I don't mind it but then again it should only be 1 week max until they open. Like launch week is exciting but then we finish the story in a day as usual and do some strikes, level stuff for a week, then the next week can be just as exciting when raid comes out. Unfortunately I'm sure they'll drag it out for like a 3 week wait if it's not at launch
-
VoG wasn't available at vanilla launch either. Git gud, scrub.
-
I'm glad they did this. All this hype over this big bad boss and we kill him hours after launch? After this was done on Crota we were like ,"that's it?". People cried on day 1 raid, people will cry on weeks later released raid. The pussification of people these days
-
This is a great thing. Give people one to gear up for the race to completion.
-
Did you not play Destiny at launch? This is a good thing.
-
Same thing that happened with Vanilla Destiny.
