If you have a red connection
If you have a Walmart internet connection and play Trials.. You are just as bad as any cheater out there. I just witnessed a guy with a red connection run through two rocket launcher blasts with proximity and live to kill me and revive others... Bungie please fix this...COMPETITIVE GAMES SHOULD HAVE A DESIGNATED SERVER!!!!

Once i had a red bar in control It looked like the world was lagswitching against me... Then i rebooted the game and te connection went back to green

I usually have yellow but sometimes drop to red. Never got lucky enough to dodge a rock though =/

I've posted in the past about the need for PvP severs but Bungie don't care about it's community or players at all plus with Activision they seem not to want to put 50p in the meter let alone spend to make the game any good at all. It's been the same since release a year ago. Yes it won't be perfect but will be a lot better if added to having more options when going in to a game, example as a UK player only having UK based playing in match or different areas UK & US. Have read that some say red bars have it hard, try killing a glitching red bar they survive almost everything, 2 rockets or 3 golden gun shots or all 13 Hawkmoon shots!!!! They walk through and calmly 1 shot me.

I normally have a green connection but it usually drops to red in trials and iron banner. Not sure why.

Unfortunately the best Internet we can get in my area right now is pretty crappy so sometimes I red bar. And trust me, it never works in my favour. Idk how these other guys manage it but yeah, if I get red bar I know that I'll be getting absolutely curb stomped that round. :/

1 ReplyYes they should have dedicated servers for pvp but they don't and connection issues aren't nearly as bad as cheating? Ask anyone with a red bar to see if they want a red bar connection, the answer will be no cheaters cheat purposefully

Is all based on the host system child. Host is crap. It sucked in 95 and it still does in 2015. Blame bungie and Crapviision.

Whoever hosts it, someone is going to be lagging behind due to the distance. You ever think about that. Also ive seen people with green bars lagging harder than people with red bars. The colour isn't law.

You think it's bad for you? When and [i]IF[/i] I red bar, I can't hit for shit and die by a melee across when I'm shooting at you and dealing no damage.

It's not only ppl with red bar..I've seen a Lot of yellow do the same. Lol I'd empty out a clip into a person as they casually stroll into a wall then die by him a second later..not fun. Lol.

First off, Destiny is not a competitive game. It is a casual shooter. Secondly, I live in the middle of bfe and the only provider that I can get out here is century link. Only 8 megs. So anytime anyone else is on my internet I'm red bar. That's not going to stop me from playing either. I'm not going to stop either because I enjoy the game and I'm not going to stop just because of it. Just deal with it.

Yeah you can report them to death, we also avoid them on PS4 so we dont get matched again hopefully as Bungie seem to be doing bugger all about it. Had one match where a guy was lag switching and then he got booted and we came back and won (this should happen more often, lag switchers should just drop out) So happened 3 times in about 30 games on P4 during day in UK...its not me got 100 MB optical better than 10 ms Ping london

Haha welcome to destiny! Lol exact same for me yesterday took two players out jump up and over with my team mates behind me to rush final player he stood behind corner walked out I shot him, melee attack, changed to shotgun, blast.. Nothing just revived his mates and killed me.. Just amazing how bad it can be
