Banned PS4 Account

I have a question for everyone. Let's say my account gets banned on PS4 for an offensive name and I'm forced to change the name to something else. Do I lose all my Destiny progress?? My other question is, is there a way for Bungie to transfer my progress to the new account name if I do lose the progress?

Hello, My account got suspended because of the same reason, once they change the name the only thing they wipe is your friends list and trophies. But I was able to keep my Destiny progress.
