I think that when we say "Additional Guardian Customization Options" in the Wish List post linked above, this is what we're talking about. There has been a lot of chatter since launch about wanting to change your face. Thanks for keeping the dream alive. We'll see what the team decides to do in the future.

I deleted my hunter to redesign the face thinking I could use the spark of light to get it to level 40 but it just got me to 25 was the original plan to get to 40 or am I crazy

It says level 25 in the description.

The character creator already exist, so they dont really need to include anything new, just take us back to that screen. Since there will be more options to see our face in year two, including more cutscenes and being able to take our helmet off in the inventory screen, it only makes sense to let us change the way we look to make year two more enjoyable. Please Bungie even your own employees want this.

If I could offer an honest opinion and Idea. I think it would be great to change our gender and race, and looks. I put a lot of time into my Titan and would love to keep it. But not many people want to continue playing as a male/female or Awoken/human forever. My idea is item implementation. Make an item/relic item. This Item can be purchased in game by available to any and all players. However, the item has to be purchased at Xûr and costs 50 strange coins. Now, this becomes a cost/benefit conundrum. Will players be willing to spend 50 strange coins to change how they look? Is it that important to them? Even 25 coins if 50 is to expensive for some. This adds a an extra layer of replayability to the game.

Introduce a story mission that involves loosing yourself to the taken or something. Your identity is wiped, and you are forced to fight the Vanguard and actual players they sent to take you back. You fight along the hive to kill the Guardians. Doesn't matter how well you do, the Vanguard will rescue you. Eris will be holding your whole being of existence from dispersing into the void and talking you through on how to return. At the time you will have a chance to reconstruct your whole existence and return home. This is a repeatable mission, provided at least one other guardian qued up for the other mission.
