I believe year one activities will drop year one exotics. I'm not sure if they will also drop year two items. But I'm pretty sure I read someone year two activities will only drop year two exotics. Also they fixed rng to better for your items. So if you already have an item, it's less likely you'll get another one

Seems to make sense. Only problem there is year one exotic armour is gonna be a pain in the ass to get, what about exotic bounties as well?

Yea especially because there will be nobody to play with in 3 months when TTK content is played through and everyone is done playing thanks to the incredible lack of relevant endgame content.
