I understand people are manipulating their MTU values also; My experience in PvP is negative, mostly to such an extent I have stopped playing it, but now I have to to get my Crucible marks to 200 ready for the DLC and I'm not looking forward to it. I would like to read that Bungie acknowledge the lag problems and are working to solve the problem instead of posting a standard notice blaming players connection, yes I know some people are not set up correctly or have a poor connections, I was in that position when I first started playing and always red barred, but now have changed ISP with a 30+Mbps fibre cable connection, port forwarded, cat 5 cabled to latest BT router, have a gaming monitor with 2ms refresh and set that up optimally but the lag persists even though I hardly ever get a red bar now. On top of that we have to deal with the cheaters!!! It a real poor show from Bungie especially when us Brits have to pay more for the new DLC than our American cousins!!!

  • Yes, sorry for the price difference. Usually everything with a $ is just scratched and replaced with a pound for you guys. Crazy. Yes, I've heard of the MTU hack. Never tried it to see if it works but I've seen players using it. Another thing that could be fixed with dedicated servers.

  • Then there's us Aussies who are paying $70 for digital TTK, 80-100 for physical legendary edition, 100 for digital LE, 120 for digital CE. The CE extras digital will probly be 25. Plus our internet should not be marketed as broadband as it usually doesn't crack 1mb upload unless u have asked for better which u'd pay a shit load more for, have a business account which has those options (again paying thru the teeth), get cable net (those in Metro areas only, Oz is big mind u) or are in an area of the NBN rollout (IMO subpar as it's using multi mode connections and fttn) rant over

  • Sounds like you get a raw deal from your ISP's.
