The borderlands series has better story, loot, characters.... But kind of repetitive locales and enemies(worse than destiny oddly) Destiny has amazing tight gameplay, pvp, cool exotics, balanced classes.... But no story, small locales, little content Your choice really. I have a blast with both, for different reasons.
