Thank you Bungie for hearing our cries for a Necrochasm buff, to finally make it close to the gun it should be... only to not make it upgradable in TTK.

What was the point?
This wasn't some overpowered gun, or some PvP dominator, or even a boss melting death machine, it was a thrall tickling kitten launcher. On top of that, due to a major -blam!-up, on you're end, has been 100% unacquirable for months now, and now leading up to the DLC it finally gets fixed, now everyone can actually get it and upgrade it and test it out(find out how shitty it is, despite being a end-game raid reward).
Now after all this time, you acknowledge your mistake and vow to give it the buff it deserves, only to then immediately announced it was being left behind in TTK.
So I say again... what was the point.

Seriously, bring in a military guy to advise on weapons and gear. Shit, bring in an avid hunter if you can't get someone from the military. Quit letting nerds be in control of things they have no experience with.

(but we will take it) Offer up an exotic as the "ultimate" reward for beating a raid (Necroasm) Weapon sucks and doesn't hardly drop. Announce we will finally fix it in the new weapons balance 2.0 which coincides with TTK. Announce said weapon getting fixed will be left behind. But good news you can still use it in the Crota raid, for gathering weapons and armor that is of no use as well. It will become a "trophy" in our little blueprint kiosk, an ugly trophy at that

Im pissed all the grinding i done to get that necrochasm only to turn out a crap gun then there going to buff auto rifles but it's not going to year 2 it's ridiculous im thinking about not going to year 2

They should fire nearly every major decision maker there. It's like a drunk suicidal pilot flying a plane full of passengers straight into the ground. They've still got time to pull up but you need someone competent and not drunk to do that.
