We all paid 20 bucks for TDB expansion,which included a new "Signature" must-have weapon;Necrochasm
In order to obtain The Necro we were required to:
*GRIND killing Swords until The Husk of the Pit dropped
*GRIND killing Hive to fill The Husk
*Grind Eris for weeks/months to reach a level with her to be able to buy an Orb to ascend The Husk into The Eidolon Ally.
*Grind Crota endlessly until The Crux dropped.
Then,after ALL of that,it turned out that The Necro was prolly THE worst exotic gun in the game.
So Bungie takes SEVERAL months to acknowledge they screwed up this gun....when in actuality it couldve been buffed LONG ago.
Then when they FINALLY fix the signature weapon from a 20.00 DLC,they announce its getting left behind!
Bungie just said all that GRIND and BTW your hard earned cash was wasted.
Sorry Fanboys/girls but that is NOT cool!

They'll eventually all be included. Maybe micro transactions, maybe additional quest lines as these are OP exotics. No need to get our panties in a bunch though. We will get them sooner at later.

I don't understand why they bothered with certain nerfs or buffs (thorn buff/nerf, Ghorn nerf, Necro buff, Hard light buff etc) when they would essentially matter VERY little come Taken King. I can only assume it's to try to leave it in a state to pull forward at some other time. Then again, Bungie is going every direction at once it seems, so they may not know themselves.

This is why I have become convinced there are 2 main development groups at bungie and they NEVER speak to each other. One group buffed Necro while the other group chose which exotics to bring into year 2.

Dude. Ya -blam!-ing nailed it. I JUST got lord of wolves. But now only for year 1. Guess what? I've played year 1 content to the -blam!-ing ground. I want new content WITH my hard earned y1 gear. I just got bones of eao and celestial nighthawk too. Too bad it doesn't meant crap now.

I literally just got the Crux of Crota, for the first time, two days ago after grinding for the damn thing since the hard CE Raid dropped. Not impressed. At all.

Agreed. Raid weapons should bump up. Other weapons have less reason to and "but I like them" isn't enough.

I agree. Just got my Nechro last week. I went in to overdrive getting it grinded out with the weapon balance coming. Turns out it'll still be garbage. *sad face*
