When A 2016 new version of the Ford F-150 is released does the dealership drive a new one up to my door and give it to me just because its almost the same with a few extra perks? I WISH.

Terribly wrong analogy. Destiny is a game , you can't compare a game with an actual good you are buying. If you want let me give you another analogy. Lets assume you need to use a software for your company. Would you use a software that reset all your staff's work every 3 month ?
